Ju-Jitsu for Self Defence

Ju-Jitsu is very a suitable martial art to learn for self defence.

When defending yourself the law says that you can use reasonable force against your attacker. The force needed to defend yourself will depend upon the nature of the attack.

Ju-Jitsu is very flexible and you will be able to respond with different degrees of severity. Many techniques can be used to restrain a person without causing them injury.

High kicks and aggressive moves are not key elements of the syllabus. The compliant techniques learned in Ju-Jitsu do not require great physical agility or strength yet the results are extremely effective.

Sui - water: Defensiveness.

You retreat from an attacker, only to return from a more advantageous position
